Make your home sustainable

...and has involved and mobilized more governments, organizations, the private sector, and other institutions to take action in order to halt climate change and begin mitigating its effects. Each entity plays a crucial role in addressing this issue within society.

Currently, climate change is an issue that affects all living beings on the planet...

...and it has involved and mobilized more governments, organizations, the private sector, and other institutions to stop it and begin mitigating its effects; of course, each one from their role in society.

All of us, through our daily activities, can contribute to improving our environment and the community we live in. As individuals, we can be more sustainable at home by taking some measures:

  • Acquire a solar heater and save up to 80% on gas consumption
  • Replace traditional bulbs with energy-saving or LED bulbs, which use a quarter of the energy
  • Make use of natural light by keeping blinds open
  • Use rechargeable batteries to avoid buying and disposing of highly polluting batteries
  • Use returnable bottles or thermoses, contributing to recycling and reducing waste generation
  • If possible, use alternative transportation such as bicycles, which not only benefits your health but also helps reduce costs
  • Avoid purchasing products with excessive paper or plastic packaging
  • Use cloth bags for grocery shopping.

By practicing these measures, in addition to contributing to the environment, you will also save financial resources.
