Corporación Inmobiliaria Vesta (Vesta) participates in the LatAm Investor Climate Initiative (ICIL).

Mexico City, Mexico, August 11, 2021 - Corporación Inmobiliaria Vesta, S.A.B. de C.V. ("VESTA") (BMV: Vesta), one of the leading industrial real estate companies in Mexico, announces its participation as a signatory of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), an international organization of investors backed by the United Nations, in the LatAm Investor Climate Initiative (ICIL) from August to November 2021. This initiative will provide five training spaces that will serve as a roadmap for strengthening practices associated with climate change management.

ICIL Actions:

1: Publicly support the Paris Agreement

2: Publicly support the Taskforce on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures

3: Identify climate change risks and opportunities

4: Use scenario analysis for climate change management

5: Define and communicate metrics to monitor climate change

Since 2018, PRI has supported its signatories in Latin America to develop and strengthen their practices of integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors into their investment decisions. With this initiative, an additional step is taken to help signatories in the region generate real-world impacts by strategically considering climate change in their investment processes.
