In the ever-evolving world we all experience, there is a legitimate concern about the consequences of the 4.0 industrial revolution, based on the digitization of operations across the universe of economic activities.

There is no economic sector that will not be impacted by the digital revolution: from how inputs are acquired to how final goods and services are marketed, including the role of the worker, where knowledge and its application will be more important than physical effort; the use and recycling of materials and waste; truly intelligent plants and equipment that will learn; novel transportation and logistics systems, and other areas of innovation that are difficult to imagine today.

While the catalysts for evolution will come from the transformation of economic agents in different branches of activity, the redefinition of business relationships and models, the emergence of new distribution and commercialization channels, the reconfiguration of production systems, the use of information, and the new way of investing in brands, industrial parks will need to adapt to create a conducive environment for change.
